For my bachelorette party in Bali we stayed at the Villa Bersantai which was tucked away on a quiet street off the main road in Seminyak.
Like many places in Bali, it can be very tricky to find using Google Maps when you first arrive, but once you learn where it is it’s easy to direct taxi drivers on your own. The location is perfect. It’s quiet and secluded but walking distance to the main streets of bars and restaurants in town.
Facilities & Accomodation
The villa is so so beautiful. The photos below are from the villa’s official website but I can vouch that it looks exactly as pictured online.
My only gripe would be that the swimming pool at the villa was really deep so we actually didn’t end up using it that much. Deep enough at least that none of us could stand in the center of the pool.
The master bedroom in the villa was amazing and huge. It was probably the size of my entire apartment in Hong Kong. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, but I think we did have some minor issues with a dripping air conditioner in the smallest room closest to the front of the villa.
Nyoman, the villa’s butler/manager, was excellent and before we even arrived he was very accommodating with our many requests (mixers, organic/all natural bug spray etc). For our first night all together in Seminyak we pre-arranged to have dinner cooked for us in the villa and it was delicious! Nyoman was there to help cook along with another chef and assistant.
Every morning Nyoman cooked us the breakfast of our choice and had it ready at a time we specified. Even after full days and nights of bachelorette activities we (mostly) made it out of bed and in to the gorgeous outdoor dining room for breakfast each day.
Despite having 6 girls staying together with swimsuits and summer dresses strewn across the villa for 3 days, the villa was always clean and tidy by the time we came home in the evenings.
I definitely recommend Villa Bersantai and actually hope stay here again with friends or family who want to visit Seminyak. I would love to visit Seminyak again and spend more time shopping and browsing the different boutiques and trying more restaurants.
