El Nido Lagen Island

After our morning kayak, Peter and I hurried back to the resort to change and grab our things. There was a boat leaving our resort in Miniloc that morning and heading to another El Nido Lagen (El Nido Resorts property on Lagen Island).

After a 30 minute boat ride, we arrived at Lagen for breakfast.

It’s never too early for a Bloody Mary is it?

Especially not with this morning poolside view.

Since it was still before 10AM and the sun had not quite hit Lagen yet it was a bit chilly in the pool but I had to brave it anyways.

Overall I thought Lagen was a beautiful resort. From what our guide, Raymond, told us, the resort rooms and facilities are newer, there’s a gym on site and there are televisions in every room.

But who needs a gym when you can kayak and swim all day?

And who needs a television when this is just outside your window?

Tomorrow I’ll be giving a more detailed review of our resort stay and a tour of our home away from home in El Nido. I miss it so much already!

Yum
  • So beautiful! And I don’t think its ever too early for a bloody mary!

    • Glad you agree with me. I love a good bloody mary or mimosa on holiday mornings

  • danniellek

yeah, with all of that around you I don’t think I’d want to be in the gym or watching tv either! Gorgeous.

    • I’m not much of a gym person to begin with. I’d much prefer being out doing activities!

  • Gosh, this looks stunning.

    • Thank you, Kate! Hope you enjoyed the photos

  • never too early 😉 serious…that view!!

    • Glad you support our morning cocktail decision 🙂

  • I love kayaking. That is most definitely what I would do all day if I went there. 🙂

    • This was my first time kayaking and it was definitely harder than it looked. Especially in the open water. But it was a great experience

  • How beautiful and I love bloody mary’s! I have not had one in so long, and I’ve gotta find a bar here in Bath that can make me one. I love them spicy! Thank you for linking up for Travel Tuesday last week and looking forward to seeing your post this week!

    • I’m sure there must be a place in Bath that serves a nice Bloody Mary with brunch! I love mine spicy too
